UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Kattar Predictions

Dana White starves us from fights for a month, the country goes mad. Then Dana feeds us Holloway vs. Kattar, Poirier vs. McGregor 2. All within a span of 8 days, January is loaded. Edwards vs. Chimaev was in the 8 day span, but Chimaev got Covid. Poor Leon, he can’t catch a break. As of now the fight has been rescheduled for March 13th.

A wise man once said “Boston is closing in on having a UFC Champion and possibly Champions soon.” Rob Font jumped into the number #5 spot and Kattar is right there for a title fight. Lets make some money in January.

Calvin Kattar (+132) vs. Max Holloway (-162)

Calvin Kattar is the answer I forgot the question. All biases aside these are two sluggers. Neither Kattar or Holloway have been knocked out. They are locked in for five rounds. We have a war ahead of us. The Cartel is riding high after Rob Fonts huge KO win, give me Calvin Kattar.

Calvin Kattar (+132)

Santiago Ponzinibbio (-300) vs. Jingliang Li (+240)

After a two year hiatus, Ponzinibbio has returned to the UFC. The UFC actually marketed his return, and it caused a huge shift in his odds, not in our favor. If you do not know, Santiago Ponzinibbio is 7-0 since 2015, last win was a knock out over Neil Magny in 2018. Li’s last lost was to Neil Magny in 2020. Basic math says Ponzinibbio wins.

Santiago Ponzinibbio (-300)

Phil Hawes (-135) vs. Nassourdine Imavov (+105)

Phil Hawes won us quick money last time out, winning in 18 seconds. Now Hawes has a good match up on his hands against Imavov. Nassourdine Imavov is also 9-2 overall, and 1-0 in the UFC. Love this bet. You get a well rounded finisher like Hawes at -135 seems like a steal.

Phil Hawes (-135)

Underdog Straight Bet:

Alessio Di Chirico (+217) vs. Joaquin Buckley (-272)

I had Joaquin Buckley as the third fighter in the parlay. Did the break down for Buckley vs. Di Chirico, I am now all in on Alessio Di Chirico.

Di Chirico has lost his last 3 fights via decision. He went to the judge with Holland and Muradov, two guys with serious KO power. Last time Buckley went the full three rounds was 2018 in Bellator. Buckley could get frustrated and keep looking for one strike to end the fight. If Di Chirico plays this right he’ll be able to gas Buckley and take the win.

Alessio Di Chirico (+217)

Delinquent MMA Parlay-

Had to throw a nice underdog bet in the mix for you.

Rob Font was a easy underdog hit. Now we ride the wave with another New England Cartel member!
