Any weekend without fights seems weird, hope y’all had a nice memorial day weekend. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
UFC Vegas 56 Volkov vs. Rozenstruik is loaded with young talent. Could be a good opportunity to cash in on a few underdogs.
Alexander Volkov (-155) vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik (+135)
Alexander Volkov at (-155) seems like highway robbery. Volkov is going to pick Rozenstruik apart for five rounds and pull off a unanimous decision victory. Simple as that.
Thought back in the day that Rozenstruik was a dynamic striker but we haven’t seen much from him recently. He loves to counter and throw overhands but that’s about it. Volkov will use his range, stay safe and pick him apart for 25 minutes.
Great value on Alexander Volkov, parlay him with the next pick and you may have a nice little paycheck coming your way.
Bet: Alexander Volkov (-155)
Dan Ige (+310) vs. Movsar Evloev (-410)
Steep line for Movsar Evloev against Dan Ige. Granted, Evloev is legit he’s 15-0 for a reason. However, this is the first time we are seeing him against a top 15-ranked opponent.
No surprise but I’m rolling with Dan Ige here. Plus (+310) is too good to pass up. Each one of Ige’s losses has come against top guys in the featherweight division. He’s as tough as they come and impossible to put away. Evloev is mainly a grappler, and even though we haven’t seen Ige on the ground much he is a black belt in BJJ.
Really like the gamble on Dan Ige here, easily my favorite underdog on UFC Vegas 56. Definitely a more risky bet but not sure how you pass up on 3-1 odds.
Bet: Dan Ige (+310)
