UFC Vegas 29 Betting Guide

4-1 on betting advice for UFC 263. Looking to sweep UFC fight night Korean Zombie vs. Ige.

Dan Ige (-115) vs The Korean Zombie (-115)

A difficult choice to make, in a pick-em fight between Dan Ige and The Korean Zombie. 60% of the votes on Tapology have The Korean Zombie winning. You could argue a household name like “The Korean Zombie” gets love from the public every time. Which I understand, but I can’t side with the public. Part of me believes the 34-year-old Korean Zombies shine is fading away.

Want to talk about underrated UFC fighters, Dan Ige always seems to be overlooked. Dan Ige lasted five rounds with Calvin Kattar, then knocking Gavin Tucker out in 22 seconds. A true dark horse among the featherweights who deserves more respect. Dan Ige entered training camp as a new father, pretty sure that means he becomes 10 times stronger.

Dan Ige holds the momentum in this fight after the massive knock-out victory. Plus he has the cardio to last all five rounds. Dan Ige by decision seems to be the best play to make here.

My pick: Dan Ige (-115)

Marlon Vera (-215) vs Davey Grant (+170)

Back in 2016, Davey Grant won against Marlon Vera by unanimous decision. The odds In 2016 were completely flipped, Grant (-175) and Vera (+155). The two face off once again, and Marlon Vera comes out as the large favorite.

Experience playing a massive factor in the odd change. Marlon Vera fought 13 times since then, while Davey Grant has only fought 5 times since. Davey Grant is coming off of two massive knockout wins, so he will be even more confident in the rematch. Marlon Vera fought some of the top guys in the division. While Davey Grant is ranked #31 and is not facing the same level of competition. Hope Davey Grant knows what he is getting involved with.

Newly improved Marlon Vera has plenty of new tools to surprise Davey Grant. A (-215) play can be a tough one to pull the trigger on. However, Marlon Vera is a great play, a possible parlay piece.

Pick: Marlon Vera (-215)

Bruno Silva (-145) vs Wellington Turman (+115)

Bruno Silva is making his respected UFC debut on Saturday. Let me tell you, Bruno Silva is a walking highlight reel, 19 professional victories, 16 by knock-out. Making his debut on a four-fight knock-out win streak against Wellington Turman.

Wellington Turman is 1-2 in the UFC since he entered in 2019. His one win came by unanimous decision against Markus Perez, who is no longer in the UFC. Wellington Turman’s last fight was a first-round ground and pound loss.

Wellington Turman is young only 24 years old and still has plenty to learn. However, this is a really bad match-up for him. Bruno Silva is the more experienced fighter, plus he is debuting with a ton of momentum. No doubt Bruno Silva will look to make a statement. I love the pick, Bruno Silva by knock out could be a sneaky hammer play.

Pick: Bruno Silva (-145)
