Fatima Kline

Fatima "The Archangel" Kline is an American mixed martial artist competing in the UFC's women's strawweight division.

Kline, who hails from New York, built her foundation in combat sports away from MMA before turning to professional fighting in 2021. She trains out of MK Muay Thai, working under head coach Augie Matias alongside striking coach Azamat "Ozzy" Dugulubgov, whose past work includes corner duties for flyweight contender Amir Albazi.

Kline holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and came up through the amateur and regional ranks with a background in boxing, having won Golden Gloves and Junior Olympic titles before transitioning to MMA. Prior to reaching the UFC, she captured strawweight and flyweight championships with CFFC and won a title at 115 pounds with Medusa FC.

A well-rounded threat, Kline pairs her jiu-jitsu pedigree with heavy hands and a boxing pedigree that gives her finishing instincts on the feet and on the mat alike. She is comfortable pressing the pace, mixing power punches with ground control, and looking to end fights outright rather than lean on the judges' scorecards.

Since joining the UFC roster, Kline has strung together statement performances against ranked and veteran competition. She stopped Viktoriia Dudakova and finished Melissa Martinez inside the distance, then out-pointed longtime strawweight fixture Angela Hill
