The 265-pound limit has no floor under it, so heavyweight is the only division where a 230-pounder and a 264-pounder are in the same weight class.

That gap shows up in the results. Heavyweights finish a higher share of their fights than anyone else: power scales with mass, and the gloves are the same size at every weight. One clean shot ends a fight a featherweight would have walked out of, which is why positions up here swing on single results in a way they never do at 155.
