Pat Sabatini

Patrick Sabatini is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the featherweight division of the UFC. A native of Bristol, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia, he wrestled at the NCAA Division I level in college before earning a degree from Rider University and shifting his full focus to mixed martial arts.

Sabatini holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the Daniel Gracie lineage as well as a black belt in Tang Soo Do, and his grappling resume includes recognition as a Pan-American BJJ champion and a silver medal at the Combat Sambo World Cup. He has trained out of MPR Endurance MMA alongside training partners including fellow UFC standout Sean Brady, sharpening the wrestling-and-jiu-jitsu foundation behind his game.

Before arriving in the UFC, Sabatini built his name on the regional circuit as a two-time featherweight champion for Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC), successfully defending the title across multiple appearances. His path included a serious test of resolve when he suffered a broken arm in a title bout against James Gonzalez, an injury that threatened to end his career. He fought back from the setback to string together a run of victories that ultimately earned him a contract with the UFC
