Vinicius Oliveira

Vinicius Oliveira, known by the nickname "Lok Dog," is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division of the UFC.

Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Oliveira built his foundation in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and striking before turning professional, fighting his way up through Brazil's regional circuit. He trains out of Sombra Team, the camp that helped shape the well-rounded game he has carried into international competition.

Before reaching the UFC, Oliveira won and successfully defended the bantamweight championship for UAE Warriors, establishing himself as one of that promotion's standout champions and a legitimate prospect on the international scene. He earned his UFC contract with a first-round knockout of Victor Madrigal on Dana White's Contender Series, a performance emphatic enough to secure him an immediate deal.

Oliveira fights as an explosive, finish-first striker, wielding a dangerous left hook and a willingness to unleash spectacular techniques such as flying knees. He introduced himself with a highlight-reel flying-knee knockout of Bernardo Sopaj that earned both Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night honors, then outpointed veteran contender Ricky Simón by unanimous decision. He later engaged in a back-and-forth war with Said Nurmagomedov that earned him a second Fight of the Night bonus, and added a unanimous decision win over Kyler Phillips to his resume.

Outside the cage, Oliveira has cultivated a colorful identity as a musician, releasing rap tracks celebrating his victories, adding a distinctive personal brand to his rise as one of Brazil's emerging bantamweight talents.
