UFC 269 Betting Guide, Oliveira vs Poirier
Last week was tough, it seems like it was a tough gambling card for just about everyone, happens, onto UFC 269. Four fights are highlighted below. 269 feels violent, paired with each fight prediction is the prop method in which the fight will be finished.
Good luck!
Amanda Nunes (-850) vs. Julianna Peña (+575)
Love underdogs as much as the next guy, but not here. Amanda Nunes is clearly the best bet to place. The question just becomes, how to bet on Nunes?
The best value play would be to bet on Amanda Nunes to win by Submission at (+350). Since Nunes has been training with Kayla Harrison her ground game improved. As we saw in Nunes last fight where she submitted Megan Anderson.
Plus Pena’s last two losses have been by submission. Betting on Nunes is always a great idea, just make sure you capitalize on the value.
Bets: Amanda Nunes (-850)
Amanda Nunes to win by Submission at (+350)
Sean O’Malley (-305) vs. Raulian Paiva (+240)
Speaking on behalf of the mixed martial arts community, we deserve to see Sean O’Malley against a top 15 opponent.
Raulian Paiva is a tough fighter who isn’t easy to finish. However O’Malley is such a sniper with his striking, one is bound to land right on the button. Plus Sugar Sean always capitalizes in the PPV spotlight.
The obvious bet is Sean O’Malley by knockout, and that’s exactly the plan.
Bets: Sean O’Malley (-305)
Sean O’Malley to win by KO/TKO (+110)
Augusto Sakai (-110) vs. Tai Tuivasa (-110)
Love to see Augusto Sakai vs Tai Tuivasa in a pick ’em fight. As the fight week progresses, wouldn’t be surprised to see Tuivasa start to become a slight favorite.
Tuivasa has the hot hand right now. He won his last 3 fights all by first round knockout.
Sakai has lost his last two fights by knockout. After back to back knockout losses, it makes you wonder about the durability of his chin.
Two things are for certain in this fight. One this fight will not go the distance and two, this fight will end by knockout. Riding the hot hand in this pick ’em match.
Bets: Tai Tuivasa (-110)
Tai Tuivasa to win by KO/TKO (+145)
Bruno Silva (-350) vs. Jordan Wright (+270)
Have been very high on Bruno Silva. Even advised betting on Silva against Wellington Turman and Andrew Sanchez. Now, with a record of 2-0 in the UFC, we are betting on Bruno Silva once again.
Shame Vegas caught on to Silva, because now he opens as a massive (-350) favorite, but rightfully so. The Brazilian is riding a 6 fight win streak, all by knockout. Now he faces Jordan Wright, who has struggled when facing powerful opponents.
Feels right to keep riding Bruno Silva by knockout.
Bets: Bruno Silva (-350)
Bruno Silva to win by KO/TKO (-165)
A handful of UFC bets to make up for last week’s speed bump. UFC 269, seems like a great card to live bet on. A ton of great matchups, but these are my favorite bets for 269.
