UFC 290: Cameron Saaiman vs Terrence Mitchell Breakdown

UFC 290: Cameron Saaiman vs Terrence Mitchell Breakdown.

Cameron Saaiman (-450) vs. Terrence Mitchell (+340)

Cameron Saaiman is an undefeated prospect (8-0) coming off of Dana White’s Contender Series last season. He earned a Majority Decision win in his debut against Mana Martinez in March, where he got to show the power in his hands and his gas tank in a scrappy back-and-forth banger.

Terrence Mitchell is coming in on short notice from the Alaskan regional scene with a 14-2 record (8 knockouts and 6 submissions). He is 33 years old, training at Legacy Jiu-Jitsu and on a 12-fight win streak. The majority of his fights are against questionable competition with iffy records but will be the most dangerous in the first 5 minutes as most of his wins do come in the 1st round.

I don’t expect Mitchell to have an advantage anywhere in this fight as Saaiman will be the more powerful striker as well as the better fighter overall and who can go 3 rounds if necessary. The line is not very pretty but this is a great showcase fight for Saaiman.
