Check out the betting guide for UFC Austin ahead of Saturday’s ESPN event, which features Beneil Dariush vs. Arman Tsarukyan in the lightweight main event.
Ranked No. 4 and No. 10 lightweight, Dariush and Tsarukyan face off in a five-round main event on Dec. 2 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
According to the UFC Austin odds, Arman Tsarukya is currently the favorite at -290 (bet $290 to win $100). While Beneil Dariush is in the underdog spot at +215 (bet $100 to win $215). This implies a 74% win probability for Tsarukya.
Jalin Turner (-250) vs. Bobby Green (+210)
On ten days’ notice, Jalin Turner has agreed to replace the injured Dan Hooker in the co-main spot against Bobby Green. The co-main event, originally scheduled as a five-round fight, has been changed to three rounds.
Over a month ago, King Bobby Green was a +350 underdog against Grant Dawson. No one gave him a chance, yet he knocked Dawson out in 30 seconds. However, Turner is better than Dawson, and he poses more of a threat to Green.
Overall, decreasing the number of rounds will greatly benefit Green. Seeing he was in camp preparing for a 25-minute brawl. Over the years, I have realized it’s bad business to bet against Bobby Green as a massive underdog.
Bet: Bobby Green
Rob Font (-145) vs. Deiveson Figueiredo (+120)
Deiveson Figueiredo moves up to the Bantamweight division to take on Rob Font. This match-up screams violence and early Fight of The Night contender.
Interested to see how Figueiredo looks in his Bantamweight debut. He was so effective at Flyweight because of his size advantage. Now, Figgy will be the much smaller fighter in the octagon.
Rob’s a technical fighter with crisp boxing. I see him sitting back and picking Figueiredo apart for three rounds. In fact, I don’t see Figueiredo’s power transferring the same up a weight division. As a result, give me Boston’s own Rob Font!
Bet: Rob Font
