UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis Fight Predictions

Kamaru Usman is a bad mother fucker and an all time welterweight but relax with the GSP comparison. Usman has a long way to go before he can be considered the best welterweight of all time. Kamaru Usman and Belal Muhammad were locks, of course Maycee Barber screwed us over.

Last week was another 2-1 week for us, lets keep it rolling with UFC Vegas 19 Blaydes vs. Lewis fight predictions. Three more fight predictions coming at ya. Also keep an eye on Drako Rodriguez, he really impressed me with his win on the contenders series. Very curious to see how his debut goes.

Curtis Blaydes (-400) vs. Derrick Lewis (+310)

Curtis Blaydes, easy one. Granted Derrick Lewis can be unpredictable at times. Blaydes is just overall a much more rounded fighter than Lewis. When Blaydes takes this fight to the ground it will be over, and he will take it to the ground. Curtis Blaydes averages 7 takedowns per a fight. Lewis is like a fish out of water when he is on the ground, even though I have noticed the improvement over the years.

Curtis Blaydes (-400)

Charles Rosa (-190) vs. Darrick Minner (+160)

Charles Rosa, born and raised Boston boy who grew up 20 minutes away from me. Only right I give a break down on this fight. Darrick Minner is a wild fighter who will come of the start looking for the kill. Minner is high pressure, constant volume 24/7. Out of Minner’s 25 wins 22 have come by submission. Here is why Charles Rosa will win, Rosa has never been submitted in the UFC. Rosa’s very talented on the ground he submitted Manny Bermudez which no one saw coming. I am sure you remember how Rosa managed to stay alive and not get submitted by Bryce Mitchell too. The main key is Minner is wild and when he gets into a bad situation he will panic wrestle. Panic wrestling is a horrible instinct to have, especially against Charles Rosa. If this fight goes past the first round everything will go in Charles Rosa’s favor.

Charles Rosa (-190)

Tom Aspinall (-255) vs. Andrei Arlovski (+205)

Rising star Tom Aspinall takes on MMA veteran Andrei Arlovski. A massive hype train is around Tom Aspinall about to leave the station, you know I already got a seat on this train. All Aspinall does is finish opponents, he has only been to the second round twice. All 9 of Tom Aspinall’s wins have come under 90 seconds. As the older you get in the UFC the more likely your jaw wont hold up like it once did. Andrei Arlovski is 42 years old, I can see Aspinall knocking him out. All aboard the hype train.

Tom Aspinall (-255)

Easy Money Parlay-

Curtis Blaydes (-400)

Charles Rosa (-190)

Tom Aspinall (-255)

$100 to win $165

The pay out is not great, but it is easy money. Blaydes and Aspinall are locks, Charles Rosa is the question but I’m really not too concerned. The way Rosa fights is a very safe bet against someone who is wild like Darrick Minner. Originally Charles Rosa was not in the parlay, I had Phil Hawes. Hawes was definitely in here for a little bias because he won us quick money in 18 seconds. However Hawes is fighting Nassourdine Imavov who dominated in his debut. Hawes vs Imavov have potential to be fight of the night.
