Brandon Royval was undefeated in the UFC until his last fight against Brandon Moreno.Royval was one fight away from a title fight, figured he would have been the favorite. However, the shoulder dislocation at the end of the Moreno fight raised some red flags. We found out after that it was not the first time Royal’s shoulder has dislocated. Slightly concerning? A little. Am I still going to bet on him? You know it.

The 29 year old has finished each one of his UFC opponents before the third round. Royval is the much taller fighter, which benefits him with a 2.5-inch reach advantage over Pantoja. Do not get me wrong, Pantoja is a beast, and this will be a tough fight for Royval. But the underdog value is too enticing to pass on.

Not too confident that Royval will be able to stand and trade with Pantoja. Pantoja’s last loss came from Askar Askarov, a ground favored fighter similar to Royval. Askarov gave Royval the blueprint on how to beat Pantoja, I just hope Royval uses it.
