No one expected Mounir Lazzez’s chin to hold up against Abdul Razak Alhassan as it did. Lazzez is the real deal. Learned that Dan Ige is one tough bastard. Up to bat first is Dana White’s Contender Series winner Montel Jackson. Jackson excels at using his range and keeping his opponents at a distance. On Saturday he has a 5.5 reach advantage over Brett Johns. If this fight stays on the feet Montel should take home the win.

Followed by Grant Dawson. Dawson choked out four of his last five opponents. Once Dawson gets you in the clinch the fight is going to the ground. Dawson also has the nickname “The Prophet”. Looks like a sign from the gambling gods.

At clean up we have Alexandre Pantoja. He is fighting Askar Askarov, who is known for his wrestling. I tried to figure out what this Askarov means but I can’t find shit. His name just confuses me. It’s his last name twice, what happened? Did his parents get lazy and drop the “ov”…. Pantoja is just the all-around better fighter in this match up.

Hear me out. Joel Alvarez is going to beat Joe Duffy. Joe Duffy has not won since 2017. Duffy is a fan favorite I was pumped to see him on this card. He beat Conor McGregor way way way back in the day.

As of recently, Duffy hasn’t done much, and it seems like most people are living in the past of Duffy’s career. I’ll take my odds on a guy who has finished all of his opponents.
