UFC Fight Night: Font vs. Garbrandt Predictions, Bets, Analysis and Breakdowns.
Michael Chandler vs Charles Oliveira, a hell of a fight. When Chandler said they would run it back one day, I 100% see it happening again. Convinced Chandler was going to knock Oliveira out when the fight had 2 minutes left in the first round. The heart it took to stay alive and in the fight is unmeasurable.
Short and sweet let’s dive into the best bets for UFC Fight Night Font vs Garbrandt!
Rob Font (-115) vs Cody Garbrandt (-115)
You did not need to click this article to know I am riding with Rob Font. Slugger match-up between Rob and Cody “No Love” Garbrandt, sure as hell will have fireworks. I have to point out the obvious here. Before Garbrandt’s clean hook knockout over Raphael Assunção, he had been knocked out three fights in a row. Important to note, that Rob Font is a 100x better striker than Raphael Assunção, and a loaded-up hook as previously seen, won’t work.
New England Cartel’s Rob Font is coming off a massive first-round knockout over Marlon Moraes. Rob holds the reach advantage at 6 inches, also the significant strikes landed advantage at 1.86 more per minute. Granted in the Raphael Assunção fight Garnrandt threw faster than anyone I have seen recently, so the significant strike stat may not matter.
Respect to Vegas for making this a pick ’em fight odds-wise. However, I think it’s hard to not acknowledge that Rob Font has never been knocked out. Ever! The Cartel is built differently, just look at Calvin Kattar’s last fight against Holloway. I love to mention every time a New England Cartel member fights, they are backed by an unreal head coach, Tyson Chartier. Out of Garbrandt’s 12 wins, only 2 have come by decision. Got to ride with my New England boy on this one. Cartel over everyone!
Rob Font (-115)
Xiaonan Yan (-125) vs Carla Esparza (-105)
Might as well make the Co-Main event a little more interesting. Short and sweet for those who do not want to read the explanation to come, I am riding with Xiaonan Yan. These odds blow my mind, I figured Yan would be -220. Whatever, thanks for the hookup Vegas. Yan is 13-1, on a 12-fight win streak. She has not lost in over a decade… I love looking at the stats in each match-up I bet on. Yan throws 4.13 more significant strikes per minute than Esparza.
Seeing the majority of their wins come from the judge’s decision, the significant strike factor plays a huge effect in my eyes. Especially knowing that Carla Esparza won her last two fights by split decision. Xiaonan Yan performs like she has been over the past decade, she should take home the victory by decision.
I am going to say something absolutely terrifying to you, no gambler wants to hear these words, but Yan should be easy money. Yeah, I said forbidden words….. LOCK.
Xiaonan Yan (-125)
Jack Hermansson (-162) vs Edmen Shahbazyan (+132)
Where to start, where to start. Shahbazyan is one dangerous dude, in the first round. Out of his 11 wins, only one fight has not ended in the first. That fight was a decision victory in 2018 over Darren Stewart. Shahbazyan is 23 years old coming off his first-ever MMA loss against Derek Brunson. In his last loss, he hit a wall in the second round due to the constant wrestling pressure from Derek Brunson. A real concern is what type of Shahbazyan are we going to see on display.
Now facing another veteran who holds a boatload of experience under his belt, Jack Hermansson. Experience-wise wise Hermansson has fought the best of the best in the middleweight division. Being 32 and having 27 professional fights is going to play a massive factor when facing a young prospect. If Hermansson uses his fight IQ and keeps Shahbazyan against the cage the fight may as well be over.
Hermansson just went the distance with Marvin Vettori, and now takes a step down to fight Edmen Shahbazyan. Hermansson is a tough dude who showed a tremendous amount of heart in the fight against Vettori. I love Hermansson, I truly believe his fight IQ and experience will play a massive role in his victory over Shahbazyan.

Jack Hermansson (-162)
The world’s longest bender known to man has come to an end for me, college. I am finally back home. Time for me to focus, strap down, and start pumping out content. I have a few ideas brewing up. Going to be posting more blogs here. But I want to do something more unorthodox, after all, this is Delinquent MMA.
