UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen Betting Guide

Congratulations to Sean O’Malley and Islam Makhachev. UFC 280 was not my best showing. Enough of dwelling on the past, onto UFC Vegas 63 Kattar vs Allen.

These Fight Nights seem to get more and more forced with each event. Less than 24 hours ago, Kattar vs Allen had 9 total fights. The UFC decided to throw a few more on there for good measure. Maybe Dana held back just a little, seeing he’s going head to head with Paul vs Silva on Saturday as well.

I’ll keep it straightforward, UFC Vegas 63 is a horrible card to gamble on. It logistically makes zero sense for me to advise you to bet on Chase Hooper at a (-255) favorite. The Kattar vs Allen betting guide is lackluster, to say the least.

Calvin Kattar (+100) vs. Arnold Allen (-120)

Calvin Kattar opened up as the favorite, but the closer we get to Saturday, the more the line swings. Which is fantastic to see, in no world should Kattar be an underdog against Arnold Allen. Beautiful opportunity for us to capitalize on these slight underdog odds.

Could take this breakdown down a variety of different paths, but let’s focus on the difference in strength in schedules. Kattar has walked through hell and back against some of the toughest opponents in the lightweight division and he is still standing. To date, Kattar has not been finished in the UFC and there’s zero chance he gets finished by Allen. If Josh Emmett or Max Holloway did not put Kattar away, not sure anyone will.

Kattar won his last fight against Emmett so he should not be here in the first place. He has the edge in striking, experience, and cardio. Plus he’s somehow an underdog, give me Calvin Kattar all day long.

Bet: Calvin Kattar (+100)
