UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Spann Betting Guide

Anthony Smith (-170) vs. Ryan Spann (+150)

Bet on Anthony Smith while you can. No need to dive into the statistics in this match up. It’s pretty straightforward. Seems like people are still sleeping on Smith because of his performance against Glover Teixeira. Keep in mind he had someone break into his home, so he was not mentally in the octagon.

Smith has looked very good recently, winning his past two fights in the first round. Now fights against Ryan Spann, whose resume does not compare to Smith’s in the slightest.

Just like the Alex Morono bet on UFC Vegas 36 reasonings to bet on Anthony Smith are the same. Hard to bet against a guy who seems to be fighting lesser talent than he is used to.

Bet: Anthony Smith (-170)

Joaquin Buckley (-200) vs. Antônio Arroyo (+170)

Should just post a sign that says “see the Alex Morono breakdown, the link is above”. The matchmakers want to get Joaquin Buckley back in the win column in a big way. Antônio Arroyo has struggled since he won on The Contender Series, going 0-2 in the UFC.

Joaquin Buckley returns after suffering a KO loss to Alessio Di Chirico in the second round. You already know Buckley is planning on bouncing back massively, so let’s talk about how to bet on Buckley.

Extremely safe to say Buckley will look for the knockout. Predicting the round is difficult since Arroyo has not been knocked out in his professional career. However, he has not fought a striker who is on the same level as Buckley.

The best bets to place would be Buckley straight and Buckely by TKO/TKO. Advise staying away from the rounds unless you got a feeling.

Bets: Joaquin Buckley (-210)

Joaquin Buckley wins by TKO/KO (+100)

Dakota Bush (-130) vs. Zhu Rong (+110)

Dakota Bush and Zhu Rong both lost by unanimous decision in their debut. It’s only right two prospects who are 0-1 in the UFC face off. Bush is 27 years old holding a professional record of (8-3-0). While Zhu Rong is 21 years old with a professional record of (17-4-0). Being the younger fighter you would expect Rong to have less experience in the cage. Not the case in this match up.

Rong debuted on UFC 261, the first card back with live fans. To add even more pressure on the 21 year old, Rong also watched two of his teammates lose back to back. With all these x-factors surrounding his debut, Rong looked very good. Besides the second round, where he spent the majority of the round fighting a guillotine choke.

Rong fought a great fight in his debut and only being 21 years old grants him an immense opportunity to improve. Zhu Rong is a great value bet.

Bet: Zhu Rong (+110)

Wonder what is happening with the company I paid to fix the website? Well, I am still battling with the bank to get my money back. Once that happens, we are going to the moon.
