Henry Cejudo vs. Song Yadong
Henry Cejudo is a (+220) underdog against Song Yadong, a (-270) favorite in the UFC Seattle Main event.
Vegas dropped a highly disrespectful line for Tripple C – this is a winnable fight for Henry Cejudo.
Since coming out of “retirement” in 2020, Cejudo’s last two opponents were the Bantamweight champions, Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling.
Song Yadong’s takedown defense has been questionable at times. As an Olympic wrestling gold medalist, Cejudo could grapple to a victory.
Yadong has a distinct advantage in striking. If Cejudo is healthy and can keep Yadong on the ground, he should secure a decision win. If we learned anything from Jared Cannonier last weekend. The lesson would be the importance of respecting your elders.
Bet: Henry Cejudo
Brendan Allen vs. Anthony Hernandez
Brendan Allen is a (+220) underdog in the rematch against Anthony ‘Fluffy’ Hernandez (-270).
Allen and Hernandez fought in 2018 for the LFA vacant middleweight title. Hernandez went on to win by unanimous decision. The entire fight is free on YouTube.
Fluffy Hernandez seems to be an unorthodox puzzle. The last person to defeat him was Kevin Holland back in 2020. Since then, Fluffy has rattled off six wins in a row.
If you rewatch the Allen vs Hernandez LFA fight, you’ll notice that after the first round, Allen never found success again. The five-round title fight was primarily a grappling match where Hernandez dominated. The two have progressed tremendously since 2018. However, Hernandez still holds the advantage in this rematch.
Fluffy came close to submitting Allen multiple times. The bet here is to take Anthony Hernandez and the submission prop.
Bet: Anthony Hernandez
Ion Cutelaba vs. Ibo Aslan
Ion Cutelaba is a (+130) underdog against Ibo Aslan (-155).
Cutelaba vs Aslan has the potential to go either way. However, the public money has been coming in on Aslan as it’s the “safer” move.
There’s not much to dissect in this Light Heavyweight fight. It will either be Cutelaba’s wrestling or Aslan’s striking.
Cutelaba tends to get overly aggressive, which exposes his gaurd. Plus he’s never been known as a high IQ fighter. Expect Aslan to expose this and knockout Cutelaba.
Bet: Ibo Aslan
