UFC Vegas 31: Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Moisés Betting Guide

UFC Vegas 31: Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Moisés Betting Guide

Went 4-1 on the UFC 264 card, and went over 100 total wins. Got a feeling these are perfect bets for UFC Vegas 31.

Islam Makhachev (-675) vs. Thiago Moisés (+475)

Don’t understand the match up of Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Moisés. Why haven’t we seen Islam against top UFC talent? He is on a 7 fight win streak, dominating everyone he faces. Now #9 ranked Islam Makhachev takes on #14 ranked Thiago Moisés.

Islam Makhachev is better in every asset, the odds speak for themselves. Impossible to straight bet Makhachev, going to have to throw him in a parlay. Not much for me to add on this pick, Vegas said take a break let the odds do the talking.

My Pick: Islam Makhachev

Mateusz Gamrot (-225) vs. Jeremy Stephens (+185)

There aren’t too many fighters I dislike in the UFC but right at the top of my list stands Jeremy Stephens. Ever since our interaction in Vegas a few years ago I have lost all respect. That is a story for another day. Let’s focus on how Mateusz Gamrot is going to beat Jeremy Stephens.

Gamrot is 18-1 as a pro, his only loss was in his UFC debut by split decision. Gamrot made a statement in his second UFC appearance winning by ground and pound. Now he faces a veteran who has taken some serious damage over his last 4 fights. Gamrot is the fresher, hungrier fighter. Plus he carries one factor Stephens can not compete with, Polish power.

Besides Mateusz Gamrot being a bad match up for Jeremy Stephens. Stephens also has to worry about karma coming to bite him in the ass. He shoved Drakkar during the face off and Drakkar suffered an injury. Causing a cancellation of the fight. Now Stephens has to worry about karma along with Gamrot. Gamrot might be my favorite pick of UFC Vegas 31.

My Pick: Mateusz Gamrot

Billy Quarantillo (+160) vs. Gabriel Benítez (-190)

Herbert Burns withdrew from the original match up against Billy Q. Gabriel Benítez stepped in and accepted the match at featherweight.2019 was the last time Benítez fought at featherweight, he was knocked out in the first round.

Billy Q’s last fight was a decision loss against Gavin Tucker. Even though Billy did not win, going the distance with Gavin Tucker is a moral victory in itself. Before the loss, Billy was on an 8 fight win streak. In his first fight back since the Tucker loss, you know Billy Q is going to look to make a statement.

Looking at the stats, Billy Q averages 2.65 more significant strikes per minute than Benítez. Benítez is a good fighter with some real power himself, he just finished Justin Jaynes with a knee to the body. This is going to be one fun fight that has the potential to be the fight of the night.

Have to roll with my boy Billy Q. Feel like he is looking to prove something after that Gavin Tucker loss. Plus you get the opportunity to steal Billy Q as an underdog with great odds.

My Pick: Billy Quarantillo

Three bets for UFC Vegas 31. Still been working on redesigning my website. Had a major set back I did not plan for at all. Once the website gets designed I have some exciting ideas instore for you.
