Kai Stewart made history at Fenway Park, retaining his BKFC Featherweight World Championship for a record sixth time with a unanimous decision over Harry Gigliotti. All three judges had Stewart winning, with scores of 49-46, 48-47, and 48-47. Stewart improves to 10-0 and extends his own record for most title defenses in BKFC featherweight history.
Gigliotti had the crowd behind him from the opening bell — he grew up 25 miles from Fenway Park and the atmosphere was real. But Stewart’s experience and output were too much to overcome. The champion outworked his challenger across five rounds, controlling the center of the pit and landing the cleaner shots throughout. Gigliotti showed toughness and kept pressing, but Stewart’s championship level was on display from start to finish.

Christine Ferea retained her Queen of Violence title with a second-round knockout, stopping Sofia Landi at 0:33 of round two. Ferea is now 12-1 in BKFC and has six title defenses on her record. The 43-year-old continues to be the standard by which every women’s fighter in the sport is measured.
Landi had the bare knuckle background and the unbeaten record coming in, but Ferea’s finishing ability proved to be the deciding factor. The stoppage came early in the second round, and Ferea’s title run continues without any real sign of slowing down.
Joe Lauzon’s Bare Knuckle Debut

Joe Lauzon made his Bare Knuckle debut a winning one, stopping Stash Kuykendall by TKO at 0:49 of round two. The Boston crowd at Fenway Park gave Lauzon the reception he earned — seven years away from competition, 42 years old, switching combat sports entirely — and he delivered. The former UFC fan favorite goes to 1-0 in BKFC.
Lauzon’s UFC career produced 17 submission wins and 15 post-fight bonuses, tied for fourth most in organization history. His last fight before tonight was at UFC Boston in October 2019. The Bare Knuckle format removes everything that made him dangerous in MMA — no takedowns, no submissions — but he found a way to get the finish anyway. Whether this is a one-off or the start of something in BKFC is the question now.
