Iasmin Lucindo

Iasmin Lucindo is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the women's strawweight division of the UFC.

Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Lucindo began training in martial arts as a teenager, a decision she has said was shaped in part by witnessing domestic violence within her own family and wanting to be able to protect herself. Before MMA became a full-time career, she worked odd jobs, including selling goods at a market stall and delivering lunchboxes, while building her fighting skills. She turned professional shortly after beginning her training and relocated to Feira de Santana, Bahia, where she trains out of Fight House alongside a tight-knit team that has guided her development from regional shows to the sport's biggest stage.

Lucindo holds a background as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion at the open-weight and gi divisional levels, and she built her early resume with regional promotional titles, including belts won in Action Fighting MMA, Punch Fight MMA, and Samurai Fighting MMA, along with a run as a flyweight titleholder before moving up to strawweight. She has also compiled a string of kickboxing victories that reflect her striking pedigree.

A composed, technical striker with underrated grappling instincts, Lucindo is known for measured, high-volume boxing mixed with the ability to finish fights on the mat when opportunities arise. Since debuting in the UFC in 2022, she has notched notable wins over Polyana Viana by submission, former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz, contender Marina Rodriguez, and veteran Angela Hill, signature performances that established her as one of the division's most promising young talents.
