Jaqueline Amorim

Jaqueline Amorim is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the women's strawweight division of the UFC.

Born in Manaus, Brazil, Amorim began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of six, drawn to the sport after watching early UFC events with her father. That grappling foundation shaped her into one of the most decorated submission specialists to reach the promotion's strawweight ranks. She fights out of American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the Checkmat lineage.

As a competitor on the IBJJF circuit, Amorim won world championship titles at the purple and brown belt levels and continued reaching the podium at black belt, placing at the IBJJF World and Pan Championships. That pedigree translated directly into her professional fighting career, where the overwhelming majority of her victories have come by way of submission.
