JJ Aldrich

JJ Aldrich is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the women's flyweight division of the UFC.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Aldrich began training in taekwondo at age nine after her mother enrolled her at a local recreation center. She progressed quickly, earning a black belt as a teenager and eventually reaching third-degree black belt status, building the striking foundation that would carry into her mixed martial arts career. Her taekwondo instructors introduced her to 303 Training Center, where she began cross-training in MMA, and she has also trained with Elevation Fight Team in the Denver area.

Alongside her taekwondo credentials, Aldrich holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and won multiple amateur titles in both MMA and Muay Thai before turning professional. She built her early record with Invicta FC, earning two Performance of the Night bonuses, before appearing on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Claudia, a run that helped pave her path to the UFC
