Gillian Robertson

Gillian Robertson, known as "The Savage," is a Canadian mixed martial artist competing in the Women's Strawweight division of the UFC. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, she relocated to Florida as a child and began training in kickboxing as a teenager before transitioning into mixed martial arts.

Robertson turned professional while still a teenager and built her foundation training out of American Top Team in Florida, where she developed under the club's veteran coaching staff. She earned her black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a credential that underscores the grappling base her career has been built on. She now trains out of The Goat Shed Academy. Robertson's path to the UFC ran through The Ultimate Fighter season 26, where she competed as a flyweight on Team Alvarez and closed out the tournament by submitting Emily Whitmire with a first-round armbar at the finale, a result that helped launch her into the promotion's roster.
