Marcus McGhee
Marcus Julius McGhee, known as "The Maniac," is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division of the UFC.
McGhee was born in Detroit, Michigan, and endured a difficult upbringing: his father's incarceration left his mother to raise him and his siblings alone as the family relocated across the country before settling in Phoenix, Arizona. He has said his love of martial arts gave him an outlet once he was exposed to an MMA gym, and he never looked back. McGhee trains out of The MMA Lab in Phoenix, where he has spent roughly a decade as a training partner of former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley and fellow contender Mario Bautista.
McGhee turned professional in 2020 and built a regional record on the strength of relentless knockout finishes before signing with the UFC
