Former UFC fighter Chris Barnett got a quick 61 second knockout in his Karate Combat debut.

Chris Barnett got a knockout win in his Karate Combat debut, but it wasn’t in the way most would expect.

“Beast Boy” competed for the first time since his release from the UFC and faced Johnathan Miller in Karate Combat 58 on Friday night in Miami. The two heavyweights slugged it out for a bit, but it was a nasty trip from Barnett that sent Miller’s head crashing into the ramp that ended up being the exclamation point for the contest.

The official time of the finish was 61 seconds into Round 1. This is the first win for Barnett since stopping Jake Collier at UFC 279 in September 2022. The 39-year-old snapped a two-fight losing streak and capped off the night with a patented front flip celebration.
