Colby Covington is 4-0 in RAF and competing in his adopted hometown of Miami. He was a two-time All-American wrestler at Oregon State before building a UFC career around that base. On the wrestling mats without the MMA context, he is a serious competitor. He has won every RAF match and turned the promotion into a platform for a post-UFC chapter.
Belal Muhammad won the UFC welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Leon Edwards at UFC 304 and is a high-level grappler by MMA standards. Freestyle wrestling operates under different rules, where his guard work does not translate. The feud between the two has run for years without a resolution inside the octagon. Covington reportedly sought a restraining order against Muhammad in the lead-up, which adds another layer to what is already a charged matchup.
Khamzat Chimaev vs. Gilbert Burns

Khamzat Chimaev is 2-0 in RAF with back-to-back pinfall finishes. He pinned Tyron Woodley in 94 seconds at RAF Moscow two weeks ago. The format suits him. He is a former UFC middleweight champion and one of the most physically dominant wrestlers to cross over into the promotion.
Gilbert Burns took Chimaev further than anyone else did at UFC 273. Burns dropped him in the first round, had him hurt, and pushed through three rounds before Chimaev took a unanimous decision. That fight remains the measuring stick for Chimaev’s toughness. Burns is 38 and making his RAF debut in freestyle wrestling, a format that removes the jiu-jitsu dimension where he is strongest. If both Chimaev and Covington win tonight, a super fight between the two becomes the natural next move for RAF.
Luke Rockhold vs. Joe Pyfer

His amateur wrestling background gives him a foundation, but Rockhold’s experience at this level is the clear edge entering the match.
Mugzy vs. Real Tarzann

Real Tarzann, the fitness influencer, made his RAF debut against Mugzy in a catchweight bout on the prelims. Mugzy secured the pin in the second period to hand Tarzann his first loss in the promotion. It was the kind of celebrity crossover match RAF has used to build its audience, and Tarzann’s profile brought eyes to the early portion of the card.
