UFC 295 has a new main event: Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira for the vacant light heavyweight title.
After Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic was called off, due to Jones tearing his pec. Pereira and Prochazka were promoted to the main event, while Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich assumed the new co-main position at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jiri Prochazka (+125) vs. Alex Pereira (-150)
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka vacated his 205-pound championship after suffering a severe shoulder injury in November 2022. After being sidelined for almost a year, it’ll be interesting to see how that effects Prochazka in his return to the Octagon.
Pereira wasn’t impressive in his Light Heavyweight debut against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291. The only clear advantage Pereira has is power. Prochazka is a more dynamic striker with better feints and grappling. Which leads me to favor Jiri in the underdog spot.
Whether you favor Pereira or Prochazka, the best bet will be the Fight Ends Inside The Distance. I’ll be pairing that bet with Jiri Prochazka money line.

Sergei Pavlovich (-110) vs. Tom Aspinall (-110)
The world always knew Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall would eventually face off for the heavyweight title. But I expected Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic to be long retired.
Alistair Overeem upset Pavlovich in his UFC debut. With a simple game plan, clinch and get the fight on the ground. Granted, Pavlovich has vastly improved. In his last fight, we saw Curtis Blaydes attempt to wrestle Pavlovich, which did not work.
Aspinall can finish this fight in a million different ways, whereas Pavlovich relies on his power. Whichever side you lean, bet the Fight Ends Inside The Distance.
Since the dawn of time, I’ve always advised betting on Tom Aspinall. Today is no different. Tommy Aspinall will be the first Delinquent Interim Champion.
