UFC 301 Best Bets

According to the UFC 301 odds board, Alexandre Pantoja is currently the favorite at -245 (bet $245 to win $100). While Steve Erceg is in the underdog spot at +200 (bet $100 to win $200). Resulting in the implied probability of 71.01% win likelihood for Pantoja.

Alexandre Pantoja (-245) vs. Steve Erceg (+200)

The odds for UFC 301 are atrocious. Out of the 14 fights, 8 have (-220) favorites or higher. As of right now, I tend to agree with the majority of the lines. Except for Alexandre Pantoja vs. Steve Erceg. Vegas forgot Steve Erceg is a certified dog.

Let’s be clear, Pantoja is the superior grappler who has fought tougher competition and has a bigger draw. But a 71% implied win probability over Erceg is insane. There is a real chance Erceg walks away with the belt on Saturday night and the odds are too good to pass up.

To date, Erceg has fought in the UFC 3 times, but he previously fought out of Eternal MMA, which produces some high-level prospects. Erceg is stepping up in competition. However, even with little UFC experience, the matchmakers understand he can hang with Pantoja.

In a recent interview, Erceg made a comment saying Pantoja fights recklessly. As a result leading me to believe Erceg is going to finish Pantoja. If you’d like additional value, Erceg wins inside distance (+300).

Bet: Steve Erceg

Michel Pereira (-440) vs. Ihor Potieria (+340)

Michel Pereira is a problem in middleweight. Some people refused to bet on him against Michal Oleksiejczuk. Not us, we cashed in big time on UFC 299

For the sake of time and energy, bet on Pereira to win inside the distance (-285). Pereira wins in round 1 (+120) if you are looking for a plus sign. Pereira to win by KO/TKO (-120) as well. In full transparency, you might as well max out your account on Michel Pereira finishing prop bets.

Bet: Michel Pereira
