UFC Vegas 46, Calvin Kattar vs Giga Chikadze Betting advice
My people, it is good to be back. Kattar vs Chikadze may not be the best UFC card to bet on, but at least we have live fights once again.
Finished 2021 with a 62% win rate. Been playing around with the idea of a cheap subscription model for the betting guides. More information to follow soon. Just an idea right now.
Brandon Royval (-160) vs. Rogerio Bontorin (+140)
Brandon Royval is one of the most exciting prospects in the Flyweight division. Honestly, getting him at (-160) is a steal. Stylistically Royval is a horrible match up for Rogerio Bontorin.
The main concern is how quickly Bontorin starts off the fight. In the first 5 minutes, Bontorin is extremely dangerous. However, after the first round, he tends to fade and fade fast. Royval just needs to play this fight strategically and not overcommit in the first round.
Even though Bontorin is coming down from 135 lbs, Royval is the bigger fighter. With a 4 inch height and a 3.5-inch reach advantage. Look for Brandon Royval to finish the fight inside the distance. Maybe a submission in the second round?
Bets:
Brandon Royval (-160)
Brandon Royval wins inside the distance (+110)
Joanderson Brito (-130) vs. Bill Algeo (+110)
Joanderson Brito makes his respected UFC debut. You may remember Brito from his appearance on Dana Whites Contender Series where he won his fight by technical decision 29-28.
Even though the victory came by technical decision due to an eye poke, Dana still gave Brito a contract. If you did not see the fight, Brito put on a show and completely dominated his opponent. Now riding a 10 fight win streak and facing off against Bill Algeo.
Algeo has never found his groove in the UFC, holding a record of 1-2. Which does not include his contender series loss. Feels like it’s time for new blood to enter the league.
