UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Holland Betting Guide

Talk about a wild year for Mixed Martial Arts, we only got three more UFC events left in 2022. The first stop is UFC Orlando Thompson vs Holland. Great card, but some of the odds are so out of wack. Sitting here advising you to bet on a (-540) RDA is a waste of everyone’s time. With that said, you should definitely throw RDA in all your parlays.

Stephen Thompson (+140) vs. Kevin Holland (-165)

Stephen Thompson vs Kevin Holland opened up as a pick ’em fight. Not sure why Holland jumped up to a (-165) favorite. Wonderboy is up there in age, but he hasn’t lost to a predominant striker. Plus wasn’t Holland retired a month ago?

If this was a pick ’em fight my breakdown would be different, but when there’s plus money on Wonderboy it’s hard to pass up. Thompson might not have the knockout power he once held but he is one of the most dynamic strikers we have seen. If you can’t take him down you are in for a dilemma and Kevin Holland is not a takedown threat.

Thompson vs Holland has the same feel as Thompson vs Neal. Give me the value in Wonderboy all day.

Bet: Stephen Thompson (+140)

Eryk Anders (+170) vs. Kyle Daukaus (-200)

Kyle Daukaus is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Roman Dolidze. Before that loss, the Daukaus brothers were the new hot thing. I don’t love the price of Daukaus at (-200), but it’s fair seeing the difference in skill level here.

Eryk Anders has never fully come into his own as a mixed martial artist. What you see is pretty much what you get. Recently he’s been talking about retiring soon too, which is a huge red flag. Kyle Daukaus is a more well-rounded mixed martial artist, I’ll take him at this price. Not entirely sure how to play this, money line feels like the safest option.

Bet: Kyle Daukaus (-200)
