UFC Long Island: Ortega vs. Rodriguez Betting Guide

Got back 2 days ago but I’m still down bad. Can’t believe I got to see Fiziev Knockout RDA in Nashville. Granted I barely remember anything else. Here’s the Betting Guide for UFC Fight Night Long Island.

Brian Ortega (-165) vs. Yair Rodriguez (+140)

Buckle up, Brian Ortega vs Yair Rodriguez has the potential to produce a fight of the year caliber performance. Very possible the winner of this main event gets a shot for the 145 belt next. Where to begin.

Yair Rodriguez took a few years off to master his craft. Since 2019 he has only fought one time against Max Holloway. Yair also entered that Holloway fight close to a 6-1 underdog and he shocked everyone. No one expected Yair to come out and look as sharp as he did. Each one of us questioned Yair’s toughness before entering the Holloway fight. Our question was answered.

Brian Ortega 2.0 is the real deal and one tough MF. Unbelievable matchmaking here, these two were meant for each other. Ortega is so dangerous, he can lose every single round and still catch you with a triangle or a guillotine. An extremely entertaining main event.

Going with the plus money underdog in Yair Rodriguez. He has the clear speed advantage and is peaking at the perfect time. Honestly feels like Rodriguez wins this and fights Volkanovski for the belt. In the underdog we trust!

Bet: Yair Rodriguez (+140)

Ricky Simón (+140) vs. Jack Shore (-165)

Fun fact, the first time we placed a bet on Jack Shore was when he fought on ABC. Conveniently enough UFC Fight Night London is back on ABC. Called for a Jack Shore bet then, why not do it again.

Listen, placing a bet on this fight is pretty risky, but no risk no reward. Ricky Simón has found success against similar grappling styles in the past. Technically speaking even has a bullshit win over Merab Dvalishvili, but we don’t need to get into that now.

The main reason I’m placing a bet on Jack shore stems back to Merab Dvalishvili. Jack Shore spent his camp working out of Serra Longo, which is none other than Merab’s gym. Serra Longo wants this win back just as badly as Shore.

You can trust Jack Shore is coming into this fight with a superior game plan. Jack Tank Shore baby!

Bet: Jack Shore (-165)

Working on cooking up a big parlay, ill end up tweeting it out. But for now, I need to go to bed, Nashville wiped me out.
