Aiemann Zahabi

Aiemann Zahabi, known as "Icemann," is a Canadian mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC's bantamweight division. Born and raised in Laval, Quebec, he grew up in the shadow of his older brother Firas Zahabi, the renowned head coach of Tristar Gym in Montreal, one of the sport's most respected training camps. Aiemann began training in martial arts at 15, initially for self-defense, and later committed himself fully to a career in the cage, developing under his brother's guidance alongside a roster of accomplished fighters who have passed through Tristar's doors, including former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Zahabi built his credentials over years of daily training split between grappling and striking sessions at Tristar. He turned professional and compiled a perfect regional record, winning every fight before reaching the UFC by first-round stoppage, and made his promotional debut against Reginaldo Vieira in 2017.

Zahabi's game is built around patient grappling instincts paired with sharp, technical striking led by his jab, and he counts the rear-naked choke among his most dangerous finishing tools. That well-rounded foundation, honed under Tristar's demanding daily regimen, has made him a difficult stylistic puzzle for opponents across the bantamweight division.

Across his UFC tenure, Zahabi has built a resume that includes a Performance of the Night bonus for a knockout of Drako Rodriguez, a highlight-reel finish of Aoriqileng, and notable wins over contenders Pedro Munhoz, Jose Aldo
