Brendan Allen

Brendan Cody Allen, known as "All In," is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Born in Beaufort, South Carolina, Allen was introduced to Brazilian jiu-jitsu at 13 after watching his older brother train, and he went on to compete in wrestling and boxing during high school in Mississippi. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where he studied criminal justice, while continuing to develop his grappling foundation. His amateur success, capped by an International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) world middleweight title, set the stage for his move to the professional ranks.

Allen holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu awarded by Daniel Wanderley within the Carlson Gracie lineage, a pedigree that underpins his approach to every fight.

Known first and foremost as a submission grappler, Allen has built his reputation on relentless positional control and a dependable rear-naked choke, developing into one of the more feared finishers in the middleweight ranks. His approach blends patient wrestling-based control with the constant threat of a fight-ending submission, distinguishing him from the division's pure strikers.

Before reaching the UFC, Allen won titles with Valor Fights and the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), successfully defending the LFA middleweight championship before earning a UFC contract with a first-round submission win on Dana White's Contender Series. He introduced himself to UFC audiences with a submission victory over Kevin Holland, then built on that momentum with notable finishes of Karl Roberson, Krzysztof Jotko, Andre Muniz, and Paul Craig, performances that earned him multiple Performance of the Night honors.

Having trained across some of the sport's most respected camps, including Roufusport and Kill Cliff FC, Allen has established himself as one of the middleweight division's premier submission specialists, a grappling-first fighter whose jiu-jitsu pedigree and finishing instincts define his identity inside the Octagon.
