Kevin Holland
Kevin Holland, known to fans as "Trailblazer" and later dubbed "Big Mouth" by UFC president Dana White, is an American welterweight competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Born and raised in Riverside, California, Holland discovered his passion for combat sports after watching UFC 100 while visiting family in Philadelphia, a moment that set him on the path toward a professional fighting career.
Holland began training in martial arts as a teenager, eventually earning a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under longtime coach and former UFC fighter Travis Lutter, along with a second-degree black belt in Kung Fu. He compiled a perfect record as an amateur before turning professional in 2015 and made his UFC debut in 2018, quickly establishing himself as one of the sport's most active and versatile competitors.
What separates Holland from typical strikers is his do-it-all skill set: heavy hands, an underrated submission game built around chokes and armbars, and the physical tools to move seamlessly between weight classes, from welterweight up to middleweight. Just as notable is his in-cage personality: Holland has become famous for talking to, and even joking with, opponents mid-fight, a habit that earned him the "Big Mouth" nickname and made him one of the promotion's most entertaining attractions.
