Joe Rogan claims Jon Jones wants “$30 million” to Fight Aspinall

Per the JRE episode #2249 Joe Rogan on Jones vs Aspinall “They are trying to come to an agreement, the rumor is he [ Jon Jones ] wants 30 million and the UFC is gonna pay”

UFC commentator Joe Rogan revealed the purse heavyweight champion Jon Jones is looking for to face interim heavyweight titleholder, Tom Aspinall.

Jon Jones wants $30 million

On the Joe Rogan Experience (2:31), Rogan reveals how much he believes Jon Jones is desiring for the potential heavyweight showdown versus Tom Aspinall.

“The rumor is that he wants $30 million”, Rogan told his guests before adding, “I hope they [UFC] pay it.”

Ahead of UFC 309, a significant talking point in the media was about Jones fighting Stipe Miocic as opposed to interim champion Tom Aspinall.

Speaking in the post-fight press conference of UFC 309 Jones responded to a question regarding the interim champion by saying, “Tom Aspinall is an a**hole and I don’t want to do business with him.” Jones also stated that he would only fight Aspinall if he is paid handsomely.

“If I give him the opportunity to fight me, I want to be well compensated. I want that ‘fuck you money,’ honestly. Otherwise, my life is perfect. I don’t need him, but he needs me.”

Dana White spoke about the potential matchup following UFC Tampa on December 14th. When asked we would see Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall in 2025, Dana white “100%” guarantees we will. If we do see this heavyweight super fight, it has potential to be the biggest fight in UFC history.
