UFC 293: Adesanya vs. Strickland Betting Guide

UFC 293: Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland Betting Guide. The event is live from Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on September 9, 2023. UFC 293 is stacked with massive favorites that do not give us much room to work. Three bets in the 293 Betting Guide.

Israel Adesanya (-600) vs. Sean Strickland (+440)

Did you ever imagine Sean Strickland would fight for the middleweight title in 2023? Especially after going (2-2) in his last four fights. The top of the middleweight division has become challenging to match make for. Adesanya has defeated everyone in the top 7, which left Strickland as the only suitable contender once Dricus Du Plessis pulled out.

It’s very counterproductive of Vegas to hold the prop lines hostage. I’d love to know the Strickland by KO/TKO line; it’s the only way he wins. But in hiensight, there is no way he wins. Adesanya is on another level.

In order to boost your odds, you have to bet on Adesanya to finish the fight. Izzy has been saying he wants to show off his wrestling, maybe Adesanya by submission.

Bet: Israel Adesanya

Manel Kape (-380) vs. Felipe dos Santos (+300)

Manel Kape’s scheduled fight against Kai Kara-France was canceled after Kai suffered a concussion during training camp. Which gave Felipe dos Santos the chance he had been searching for. Dos Santos had two fights fall through on The Contender Series in August, which would have been the ideal road to the UFC.

Dos Santos is only 22 years old and holds a professional record of (7-0). Manel Kape is a massive step up in competition, especially for someone who is so green. Kape’s pressure and boxing will be to overwhelming for Dos Santos. Manel Kape by KO/TKO is my favorite bet for UFC 293.

Bet: Manel Kape

Nasrat Haqparast (-400) vs. Landon Quiñones (+300)

Have you picked up on the theme of this week’s Betting Guide? We are strictly betting and discussing mismatches. Why on earth is Nasrat Haqparast fighting Landon Quiñones? If you watched The Ultimate Fighter, you might recognize Quiñones as he competed for Team Chandler. He suffered a submission loss in under 60 seconds of the first round. Which somehow landed him a fight against Haqparast.

To date, Haqparast has one finish in the UFC, an overhand knockout back in 2019. However, on his come-up, Haqparast was knocking out everyone. Dana gifted Haqparast a bounce-back fight to get back in the win column. Bet on Haqparast by KO/TKO.

Bet: Nasrat Haqparast
