Even with that said, there seems to be a resurgence in Alexander Volkanovski. He’s been getting different looks in Thailand, training with Brad Riddell, Aljamain Sterling, and Craig Jones. Whereas Lopes has Austin Bashi mirroring Volkanovski for his camp. Bashi is 23 years old and doesn’t have a win in the UFC. I appologize for the stray shot Bashi, but the skill level of training partners is incomparable.

Volkanovski has fought the tougher opponents and been at the highest level for years. He got a real opportunity to reclaim his Featherweight title in Miami.
