UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till Betting Guide
Tom Aspinall (-265) vs. Sergey Spivak (+215)
Not sure why Sergey Spivak stepped in on less than two weeks’ notice to fight Tom Aspinall. Doesn’t seem like a smart idea to me, but hey I am not his coach. Spivak is a rising prospect himself, and a fight against Aspinall should require a full training camp. If Spivak had a full camp the odds would be slightly closer.
Aspinall has a clear advantage across the board against Spivak. Really no need to dive in and break down their strengths and weaknesses. Spivak stepping in last minute makes this fight a no brainer pick to me.
Bet:
Tom Aspinall (-265)
Luigi Vendramini (+125) vs. Paddy Pimblett (-145)
Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett officially makes his UFC debut. The only way to properly welcome Paddy would be by betting on him. The UFC places the rising star against Luigi Vendramini, a fighter who once too had the prospect glow.
Vendramini debuted with a professional record of 8-0. Right out of the gate the expectations were set very high. Since his debut in 2018, he holds a record of 1-2 in the UFC. A classic UFC match up, a newcomer with a ton of potential vs a struggling prospect.
Barely any statistics are available on Pimblett. Can confirm he is the bigger fighter, which should translate into the larger reach. Pretty crazy his reach is not even listed. The star glow around Paddy Pimblett has done enough to earn my bet.
Bet:
Paddy Pimblett (-145)
David Zawada (+130) vs. Alex Morono (-150)
Alex Morono has all the momentum in the world. Last Saturday Morono had the privilege to award his training partner and friend, Ricky Turcios with his black belt after winning The Ultimate Fighter. One week later Morono enters the octagon against German prospect David Zawada.
On paper, a fight between David Zawada and Alex Morono doesn’t make any sense. Morono has looked good fighting top guys in the welterweight division. While Zawada struggled since his debut, gaining a record of 1-3 in the UFC. The difference in the strength of competition the two have face is absurd, and it’s enough for me to feel completely confident in Morono.
Love Morono here, not going to get all complicated with prop bets. Just going to throw a whale on Alex Morono’s money line.
