Macy Chiasson

Macy Chiasson is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the women's bantamweight division of the UFC. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she now trains and fights out of Dallas, Texas.

Chiasson's path into combat sports began after a car accident in her late teens, when she started training in Krav Maga to rebuild her fitness and found herself drawn to the discipline's physicality and mental demands. She spent years teaching at Triumph Krav Maga before transitioning fully into mixed martial arts, eventually developing her professional game alongside teams including Fortis MMA and MidCity MMA. She holds a brown belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga.

Standing tall with a notably long, rangy frame, Chiasson uses her reach to control distance on the feet while mixing in an increasingly polished wrestling and grappling attack, giving her the ability to finish fights both standing and on the mat.

Chiasson first rose to prominence on The Ultimate Fighter: Heavy Hitters, where she was the first female fighter selected by coach Kelvin Gastelum. Despite entering the show with only two professional fights on her record, she finished both Larissa Pacheco and Leah Letson in the first round before submitting Pannie Kianzad via second-round rear-naked choke in the finale to win the tournament. Since joining the UFC roster, she has recorded notable victories over Marion Reneau and Norma Dumont, and has earned Performance of the Night recognition for standout finishes inside the Octagon.

Chiasson stands out as one of the more well-rounded competitors to emerge from The Ultimate Fighter, having translated her reality-show breakthrough into a lasting career at the highest level of women's mixed martial arts.
