UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill Betting Guide

Check out the UFC 300 Betting Guide ahead of Saturday’s big pay-per-view event Pereira vs. Hill, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile arena. The UFC 300 Betting guide will show you how to place the best bet for UFC 300.

UFC 300 features an action-packed card, headlined by Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. The co-main event consists of a Strawweight title fight between Weili Zhang vs. Xiaonan Yan. In addition, Justin Gaethje will face off against Max Holloway for the UFC BMF title.

UFC 300 Best Bets

According to the UFC 300 odds board, Alex Pereira is currently the favorite at -140 (bet $140 to win $100). While Jamahal Hill is in the underdog spot at +120 (bet $100 to win $120). The implied probability is a 58.33% win chance for Alex Pereira.

Alex Pereira (-140) vs. Jamahal Hill (+120)

On average, it takes about 12 months to recover from an Achilles tear. Jamahal Hill ruptured an Achilles tendon 9 months ago. I’d question if Hill took enough time off to rehabilitate his injury. Based on the numbers, there’s a high chance he didn’t. We honestly have no idea about his health. Perhaps the 300 spotlight was too enticing to pass up.

Despite that massive intangible, stylistically, Pereira vs. Hill is a pure striker vs. striker match-up. Jamahal Hill has never shot a takedown. So, you could break down the main event as a kickboxing match and the clear advantage would go to the Glory Kickboxing Hall of Famer, Alex Pereira.

It’s also worth considering that Pereira’s head coach, Glover Teixeira, faced Hill a little over a year ago. They already went through this camp once and know where they messed up. All the cards are lining up for Pereira to avenge his coach.

Alex Pereira’s money line is immaculate. Bet on Pereira to win by KO/TKO by a leg kick to the Achilles.

Bet: Alex Pereira

Charles Oliveira (+190) vs. Arman Tsarukyan (-225)

Due to the magnitude of UFC 300, Oliveira vs Tsarukyan seems to be falling under the radar. Which created a phenomenal window to bet on a miscalculated line. There is no reason Arman Tsarukyan should have a 70% win probability over Charles Oliveira.

Starting with the statistics, Oliveira is the bigger guy. On average, their significant strikes landed per minute are borderline identical. Tsarukyan is relatively safer on the feet, as he does not absorb as many significant strikes.

They have two different grappling styles. Oliveira is primarily a Jujitsu practitioner. He’d have no problem throwing up submissions off his back if Tsarukyan chooses to wrestle. Fun fact, Tsarukyan has yet to attempt a submission in the UFC. But that’s his style, he prefers to take fighters down and inflict ground and pound. The most interesting factor will be seeing how Charles handles Tsarukyan’s pace.

With all this said, the best bet here is Charles Oliveira. A combination of the misjudged line and constant submission threat is enough for me.

Bet: Charles Oliveira

Holly Holm (+345) vs. Kayla Harrison (-450)

Kayla Harrison finally makes her highly anticipated UFC debut on the biggest stage imaginable. If you’re a rational person, I’d imagine you are questioning why the hell there is a (-450) favorite in the betting guide. The answer is simple. Harrison was never allowed to throw elbows due to the PFL rule set.

The biggest question is how Kayla handles the weight cut to 135 lbs. Before Kayla accepted this fight, her camp did a test cut to see how her body would react to the cut. Everything went great. Now we get to see the highly decorated Judo practitioner and former PFL champ beat up a 42-year-old Holly Holm.

Bet on Kayla to win by finish.

Bet: Kayla Harrison

Deiveson Figueiredo (-285) vs. Cody Garbrandt (+245)

In Deiveson Figueiredo’s Bantamweight debut, he opened as an underdog against Rob Font. Most people (Including me) expected Figueiredo to struggle with the size adjustment. However, Figgy dominated Font in all three rounds. In his second appearance at Bantamweight, he draws the guy with the most suspect chin on the roster. Dana is teeing Figgy up to kick off the night with a massive knockout.

What’s the best way to build the buzz of UFC 300 and get last-minute PPV buys? Have the first fight end with a vicious knockout. Figueiredo is the man who is most capable of that. Plus, we are due for a Figueiredo KO, he has not had one in 4 years.

Kai Kara-France knocked out Garbrandt 2 years ago. Since then, Garbrandt fought two guys who aren’t even on the roster (Brian Kelleher & Trevin Jones). Read the tea leaves, Deiveson Figueiredo by KO/TKO is the best bet in the UFC 300 Betting Guide.

Bet: Deiveson Figueiredo
