Jean Silva

Jean Silva, known by the nickname "Lord," is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC featherweight division.

Born in Foz do Iguacu, Parana, Brazil, Silva found his path into combat sports through Muay Thai before transitioning to mixed martial arts. He turned professional in 2016 and spent years honing his craft on the Brazilian regional circuit, competing for organizations including Aspera Fighting Championship and Blackout Fight Championship before taking a hiatus from competition. He resurfaced on Dana White's Contender Series, where a standout performance earned him a UFC contract.

Silva trains out of Fighting Nerds in Sao Paulo, one of Brazilian MMA's most talked-about modern gyms, alongside teammates such as Caio Borralho, Carlos Prates, and Mauricio Ruffy.
